day three of dry fast

I have put aside time to fast for mainly healing and prevention. I suffer with arhritis and find it considerably improved with each fast and improvements in my diet and lifestyle. I do rebounding as well as walking and have been laughed at for drinking my spirulina, which my brother-in-law thinks is only fit to feed his tropical fish! I like the taste! I have thrown away my makeup, soaps and lotions and replaced them with only natural things. I had forgotten about the things which I put on the outside of my body! I tell you, with each fast I believe I grow wiser about such things. As I do find dry fasting to be easier for me, I question whether it is the best way to detox. I have also read that toxins are stored in our fat. I am not over weight 5'7", 120 Lbs, but I do have fat on my thighs and slight tummy, I'll be fifty soon and I think that comes with age. My question is should I be fasting to a point to be completely rid of this toxic fat. I did not know that such fat was used to store toxins. Another question is about ketosis. Is this process accelerated with dry fasting, and if so, would this the wiser option to aid my body with detoxing. Another question, why does the Arthritis seem to subside so well with fasting yet slowly creeps its way back with return to eatting. So very frustrating when I feel as if I'm doing all that I can think of to help rid my body of this for good. Anyone else have those dreaded return of symptoms?
