Re: alternate tooth cleanser.

I have included an excerpt below where Uny talks about remineralizing teeth. I read it to say that IF you have been using a toothpaste that contains glycerine it would take 10-15 salt water rinses to 'uncoat' the teeth. You have just used a whole bottle of tooth & gum formula. IMO... there should not be any coating left on your teeth now.

As for an alternative this post lists the ingredients in both tooth powder and the tooth & gum formula. It describes the action of each ingredient, so that information should be of help in deciding what you could use in formulating an alternative cleanser.

Excerpt:

All toothpaste (natural, organic, or otherwise) contains glycerine. This creates a VERY thick coating on the teeth (it would take 10-15 salt water rinses to 'uncoat' the teeth). Supposedly, the glycerine is added to prevent bacteria from reaching the teeth...but what the glycerine actually does is make a thick coating that PREVENTS the minerals in the saliva from remineralizing our teeth.

This post from grzbear talks about the tooth formula

Here is an excerpt:

I use a mixture of 1 part Terramin clay, 1 part baking soda and 1/2 part Real Salt to brush my teeth and usually wet the brush with H2O2.

Yes, I'd use the OPing to enhance circulation, and do it 'typically' (before brushing the teeth) - then I'd brush them with the Tooth & Gum liquid, take double doses of the Herbal Calcium, and pack them at night with the Tooth & Gum formula. (The Herbal Calcium is EASILY for the the body to use & assimilate and does NOT cause problems like the rock-based calcium can cause).

These posts contain basic protocol for remineralizing teeth and tons of great information from Uny:
