I have had to deal with this for years. After much trial and error, and consultation with the doctor we have determined that when it is really bad, I can apply a steeped and cooled tea bag for the drying effect of the tannic acid in the tea bag. Years ago, OTC Bacitracin worked but no longer. Last time it was really had. I washed several times a day with Dial or Safeguard. Then, I mixed 1/2 and 1/2 - OTC Monistat (what you would use for vaginitis) and OTC cortisone (you may not need this. I was in bad straits). After that was all applied under the breasts and in groin creases, I then dusted everything with Z-Sorb powder. All this is physician and pharmacist recommended. I have read that taking zinc can help with the odor. Tumeric capsules are supposed to help too, but this last was the worst and after a few days of trial and error, the above regimen worked beautifully. BTW, the best price on the OTV Monistat was at Wal-Mart - $5.98 as opposed to $14-15 at pharmacies.
