hi -- Have you started? I want to take a 10-day fast, too. I'm kind of gearing up. cleaning up my diet. I'm trying to make permanent dietary changes, then get into fasting. I want to do some 3-day fasts while the diet-cleaning-up process is going on, and then take on a 10-day fast. This will be my first major fast. I'm fasting to maintain weight loss and increase my health. I am committed to having fasting as my way of life. I really need to achieve the ability to fast, in order to become truly healthy: heal from my brain fog and lack of energy. Every time I fast I get this healing but I just won't really be able to succeed at the fasting or maintain the healing as long as I still allow addictive foods in my diet. So I am committing to that abstinence first. Today is my second day of no bingeing and of adhering to a "first-stage" clean diet. I mean that I've eliminated the worst foods, permanently, for life, as of 2 days ago. (!!!) Next to eliminate other problem foods. These are my first steps to fasting -- to a committed fasting way of life. Let me hear from you if you like!
