Is tonight Ramadan?

It is about 1 1/2 hours before magrid prayer and we are all sitting and waiting anxiously to see if the moon is sighted. If they site the crescent of the moon, we will be yelling for joy as Ramadan will have arrived.

Ramadan is not the same all over the world. Where ever you are your country or city must site the moon first. Some years Saudi Arabia has Ramadan and we do not. So we sit here waiting and preparing.

It is a time to clean your homes as Angels do not enter dirty homes, so if your home is dirty, clean quick. If you are like me I am busy preparing food for the month. I made some homemade chicken broth, that is sitting in the refrigerator waiting for the fat to come to the top. I made some homemade potato and leek soup and I froze most of it, heheheh I just had a big bowl and it is very good.

I have been shopping the last few days stocking my home with food and now I am just waiting for the Angels. Are they on the mountains waiting to come down? Oh my goodness, I am so excited. Allah Akbar.

May each one of you know the excitement of Ramadan.

Sara
