Re: Excessive Thirst during Water Fast
Hello jooklum,
You have answered your own question from your original post.
You are not experiencing thirst, but only your perceived perception of thirst: a similar analogy would be to compare "appetite" with "genuine hunger" which are Worlds apart.
Your frequent trips to the bathroom signifies that your body is expelling the excess water and where this will only burden the body and delay detox by overworking your kidneys.
A dry mouth with saliva thickening and lips becoming chapped are not unusual symptoms on a water only fast and where this happened to me on both of my protracted fasts on water only according to thirst. The above symptoms are not indicative of thirst, just as appetite is not indicative of hunger and the genuine demand for nourishment.
Your pre-fast diet of only one week on raw fruits and vegetables coupled with your previous lifestyle of 4 days per week fasting for 4 months, will only indicate that you are malnourished and your bodily reserves will therefore be inadequate for your present undertaking.
I would advise that you adhere to an intensive nutritional programme of at least 2 months on this raw diet, coupled with a high intake of Chlorella (20grams) with Spirulina powder of (10grams) per day: the most noursishing of all foods in existence and which also have extreme therapeutic qualities.
