Hi, you may have to white-knuckle through the first 3-4 days but once you get there, it'll be so much easier.
The easiest way I can think of to get through the first initial days before you get into ketosis is to eat a high fat Atkins diet - no carbs whatsoever. That way you won't be tempted to binge while you're waiting to burn up your glycogen.
The reason you break down and eat is because your blood Sugar isn't stabilized yet. If you don't want to eat anything before you get to ketosis, you'll have to use willpower and psychological tricks to get through, but it's only 3 or 4 days. Tell yourself you can eat tomorrow, or in the evening, and keep postponing it off into the future.
Once you're in ketosis and your blood Sugar is stable, it'll be easier.
