Trying to figure out if this is a bite from an insect

I recently was at a party on an island about forty minutes off from Charleston, SC. I noticed a lump on top of my foot two nights ago and don't know whether I should be concerned or not. The lump has turned into two marks, so I don't know if it is a snake bite or something else. My foot still hurts, can anyone help me identify this? Thanks
