Severe left arm pains during withdrawal from alcohol

I wonder if anyone has any experience of severe left arm pain during withdrawal from booze.

I've had this checked out by my doctor as initially i was worried that I was having a heart attack or stroke. Apparently not, that's all ok. I'm left however with massive pain in my left arm, restricted mobility, tingling and weakness.

I know my body is in bad shape after a fairly hefty few months of drinking since I last fell off the wagon and am following the kind of nutritional support suggested by Jurplesman who posts on Curezone, and Pam Killeen who wrote a new book on nutritional approaches to tackling addiction.

Any suggestions for what might be causing it, what I might do to help? It's so bad I am having trouble sleeping and pain killers, which i rarely take, don't touch the pain.
