Re: Alcohol tolerance

What things affect alcohol tolerance? I read people who under methylate (histadelics) have very high alcohol tolerance, whereas people who over methylate (histapenics) have very poor alcohol tolerance? Are there any other factors, and also, anything people with poor alcohol tolerance (easily drunk) can take to improve alcohol tolerance?

Of course there is differences in alcohols such as alcohol content and carbonation of some alcohols that increase the alcoholic "punch".   Some alcohols also utilize specific herbs to increase the effects of alcohol.  Then there is body size and amount of body fat, amount and type of food in the stomach, liver function and levels of the enzymes alcohol dehydrogenases that break down the alcohols.

Also, is getting no hang over after a fair bit of alcohol and good sign or a sign somethings not right in the liver?

There is no simple answer for this since there is so much involved such as alcohol levels, rate of absorption, dehydration, type of alcohol, processing enzymes, etc.
