MRSA on hard surfaces is easy to eliminate with a chlorine dioxide solution of 30 PPM. It takes about 60 seconds to kill it off. It is more difficult to remove from skin because of its texture and the flora on the skin interacts with chlorine dioxide using it up to a point where little is left to react with the infection.

The chlorous acid that is produced when you mix a dose of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement does not seem to be as effective as simply using chlorine dioxide in water. Chlorous acid has some chlorine dioxide in it, but the acid contact with the skin triggers a response from the skin to protect it from the acid contact. This ends up neutralizing the chlorine dioxide in the chlorous acid.

However, in some cases the acid wash is effective.

While MRSA is easy to kill, it is very difficult to eliminate.

Many times MRSA is cultured in the nose. This is a difficult area to disinfect with chlorine dioxide because of the possibility of breathing in the fumes. Chlorine dioxide is a respiratory irritant, so you don't want to breathe in the fumes.

In addition, clothes, bedding, walls, rugs, appliances, and so on are all capable of becoming infected and passing that back to people in the re-infection process.

The way to deal with MRSA is to eliminate the infection and also eliminate the possibility of re-infection.

To deal with sores on the skin you need chlorine dioxide in water at a concentration of 100 PPM. The PH needs to be at about 6. You need to add a drop of dish washing soap to the solution to break down the surface tension.

This solution can be applied using a paper towel or a small wash cloth. If using a wash cloth make sure you first soak it in a separate solution to disinfect it. The infected area is covered with the damp towel and held in place for at least a minute. During this time, lightly rub to remove flora and surface dirt. Repeat 3 - 5 times, then let the area air dry.

If the person is able to breathe only through their mouth and not their nose, you can do a similar application using a Q tip to the nose. Don't breathe the fumes.

Next comes the hand wash. You need to wash your hands and pay particular attention to the area under the fingernails. After cleaning, dip the finger tips into a chlorine dioxide solution to make sure any staph lurking under the fingernails is disinfected.

Now you need to deal with clothing and bedding. Adding a 10 PPM chlorine dioxide concentration to your wash water will disinfect the wash load.

You can add sodium chlorite to the water in a humidifier and basically disinfect the house by running the humidifier while turning the fan on your heating system on to distribute the air throughout the house. You are looking for a concentration of about 1000 PPM available chlorine dioxide, but care must be taken with this because that concentration can bleach under certain conditions.

Finally you can mix up some chlorous acid to disinfect door jams, sinks, counters, bath tubs, shower stalls, toilet seats, the bedroom area, the kitchen area, the bathroom area, and so on. A good concentration for this is 600 PPM available chlorine dioxide. When mixed properly this solution will not bleach, but it is close to becoming a bleaching agent.

As you can see, this is a rather complete approach to this, but it won't protect your friend if you have staph on you and bring it into her household. Normally this is not an issue, but in the heat of battle it is best to use the best hygiene you can to eliminate the possibility of re-infection.
