I had Colonoscopy today. Terrible headache.

Hello.

For the last 4 months I have had pain in my rectum/sacrum region. Only when sitting though.

For the last 2 weeks I have had painful bowel movements and anal itching.

I went in for a Colonoscopy today and they found no polyps or cancer. They did find 3 hemorrhoids though.

As a precautionary measure the Doctor took a biopsy of 2 areas of my colon.

Now I have a terrible headached and feel like crap.

Questions #1: Was it necessary for the Docot to take the biopsies? Can this cause a potential problem for my colon?


Also, Question #2: Does anyone recommend anything to help cleanse my body of the "twilight anesthesia" I received?


I have sat in my Far Infrared Sauna today and taken Vitamin C, Milk Thistle, Dandelion Root, Iodoral, Selenium, Probiotics, and Digestive Enzymes.
