Blastocystis hominis again

I am now reading about it in one of the major books on "Tropical Infection Diseases"

http://www.amazon.com/Tropical-Infectious-Diseases-Principles-Pathogens/dp/04...

It mention the following drugs having in vitro sensitivity to blastocystis hominis, a few of them may be new to some of you

Emetine
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emetine

Metronidazol/Flagyl (we all know about this)

Furazolidone (part of the Australian triple teraphy)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furazolidone

co-trimoxazole
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole

quinacrine
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinacrine

"Quinacrine is not the drug of choice because side effects are common, including toxic psychosis, and may cause permanent damage."

pentamadine
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentamidine

And from a series of papers we know there are even more. Some combination must be able to blast it off. Bust guess is the Australian triple therapy, check with good doctor.
