Re: syntol amd

I'm VERY happy to hear that Syntol is helping you, as I've not gotten mine in the mail yet and can't wait to begin it.

My doc feels the reason I've suffered for almost 2 years now is because I have not dealt with the systemic part of candida by using the Fluconazole after using Nystatin etc... so, I've tried oregano oil, diet, and well over 2000 bucks worth of supplements. All have helped some, have either stopped working, or else I have not been that consistent, I will admit. Candida is SO tricky...it makes you think it's gone and then bam, it's back with a vengeance.

I had read about some really bad side effects of fluconazole, so that's why I have procrastinated all this time. But my doc said those are extreme cases, where the person did not rid themselves of what was in the colon FIRST.

He says that I should be able to tolerate the fluconazole after either a round of Syntol AMD or compounded Nystatin, along with a yeast-free diet. (mainstream Nystatin actually contains some form of sugar, believe it or not, so the best type is compounded and it's expensive of course...ugh)
