Re: Did anyone's endocrine labs improve with iodine?
What Gina is saying is sooo true, I applaud you Gina because it is clear that labs aren't true inidicator of how well we feel, if we relied on those we would never get anywhere. They are a good guideline to get started for someone not sure of, but overall, yeah. lol
It's not even having extra weight or not enough that tells you how good you feel...that's just a mirror, nothing more. I have observed people for many years and those who are comfortable and healthy in their own skin glow. Don't be hard on yourself for not losing pounds, they will come and go through out our life time, what we don't want to lose is health by trying to over fix something that doesn't need fixing or expecting more than what any one thing is possibly capable of doing.
Iodine is a basic in the human body and without it nothing will ever balance out correctly. Take Gina's advice and give it time, not a few weeks but real time, at least three months and then see how you feel. Many of us had to do this for several years before things balanced out well. It is dependent on the bodies current burden of toxicity and the like, diet, attitude and peace of mind.
