UNY, Your computer monitor shield

Unyquity, I just wanted to ask your advice about the computer monitor shield that you gave me a link to that you have. Can you tell that it protects you? The reason I ask is that I bought a shield for a crt monitor more than ten years ago. I had a CRT monitor then. That shield didn't do much good and I had to get an LCD monitor. Now the LCD monitor is affecting me. I just wondered if you could tell definetely that it helps. I will probably try to get one anyway but was just looking for a testimony.
