I'm drinking a lot of kefir as part of an anti-candida treatment. As a sweetener, Stevia just doesn't quite do it for me and I heard Xylitol actually fights candida.
However I'm concerned that it might harm or diminish the friendly flora that I'm trying to cultivate.
Does anyone have any deeper data on what xylitol? Can it be safely used as a sweetener or is it harmful to good flora too?
I'm using raw milk from grass-fed cattle so it's got a nice broad spectrum of good buggies.
