Re: Is This True?
Just read the above statements in an article I'm reading and was wondering if they are true statements or just the author's belief? Can someone help?
I am not an expert but I say the statements are more the author's belief.
I do not believe this statement to be true:
Fat cells in the body are the last kind of cells to become insulin resistant, compared to muscle cells, so insulin has more lasting effects on them. Insulin causes the body to turn glucose (carbs) into fat, and it doesn't allow the body to burn fat for energy so a person can maintain their weight. This is the main cause of overweight and obesity. My belief is that if we give our bodies the nutrition it needs and cleanse our organs, blood and lymph systems, we will naturally maintain a healthy weight. If there is a problem of insulin resistance -- this is because the body is not able to function normally. It needs nutrition, cleansing, repairing, rebuilding and restoring.
I offer some links containing related information that may help you in your search for "your truths".

Uny-dinosaur had an prof. (Ph.D chemistry) when Rocky n' I went back to college (5 years ago); both he and our Biology professor pounded two words into our heads for 2 years... empirical evidence. For those that don't know what empirical evidence is - it's reality. Not theories; not hypotheses; not tests and studies done in petri dishes and test tubes; not data based on 'how things should work' in a human body when every organ is functioning optimally (when virtually none of them ever are); and not studies done with a select group of people for a few weeks (taking nothing into account about their biological terrain). It's what is tangible, what we can see, what happens in the real world in realy human bodies over decades of time and tens of thousands of people. You know, right?...the actual Truth.

Candida yeast are saprophytes (from above: An organism, especially a fungus or bacterium, that grows on and derives its nourishment from dead or decaying organic matter ) Yes, when yeast & sugar combine, there's the fermentation reaction (creating gas & alcohol)...but candida get their nourishment from "dead or decaying organic matter".
We absolutely MUST do a deep & thorough colon cleansing. We absolutely MUST have regular input of 'high density' natural gut flora (fermented foods/juices, water kefir, dairy kefir, etc). Echinacea is pretty much a "must" both to kill and to support the weakened immune system - and activated charcoal is superb for 'sopping up the toxins' (particularly with the die-off).<<<<<
