Gals, please help!!!!

Hi all,
I've had vicious yeast and have been fighting strong since last september. I've been on diflo for a long time, with no choice. All the natural stuff did not work for me prior to going on diflocan. I tried and tried for months, finally had to go on medications. I'm on a maitanance dosage now,
It's complicated. But, thinking the yeast was back, I went to a sub gyno. My wonderful regular gyno was not in and I had to see if the yeast was back (diflo may not be working.....had to know). He turned out to be an idiot to me, refusing to look in the microscope at my discharge. He simply said, if it's white, it's yeast!!! Period!!!!!
Did a culture, and 2 days later, it comes back as bacterial. No yeast! Now, he prescribed Flagyl.
I don't want to take it!!!! It is going to cause more yeast problems.!!!!!!! First, I believe my problems are coming from the gut, bacterial overgrowth. I've taken tons of probiotics to help crowd out the bad guys, but I guess I'm not succeeding. Yeast seems to not grow on a culture, never has, but my gyno has seen it on the gram smear. Plus, I've been treated so it won't grow.
Anyway, I want to avoid the Antibiotics . what can I do?
