Catnip oil as mosquito repellant?

I've read that catnip is an excellent mosquitto repellent and I have some growing in my garden. I'd like to make an oil from the leaves but I'm having trouble finding guidelines for how to do it.

I think I have a mosquitto bite for every square inch of my body!!!! Help save Beth so that she can go outside again!!!! Thank you in advance!
