Re: angry

From my own experience:

I would say a good sign -- emotions don't go away when we swallow them, they need to be felt, express and released at some point.

Maybe try to get into your anger, feel it, and do something physcial, like punching pillows, exercise, chopping wood or whatever helps you get out your aggressions.

In Chinese Medicine the dual emotions of the liver are anger and kindness. So when I release anger (at myself or others) I then try to hold them in my heart in a kindly way. For example, if someone wronged me and I supressed my anger -- when it comes out, I try to feel it, honor it, take action if I can (like talking to that person about how I felt), and then look on the person with kindness, realizing they are just human and we all have our faults.

Also, in Chinese Medicine, they say that if you don't get better with treatment, or your symptoms come back, to look to an emotional basis for your problems. That is what I'm doing now -- emotional work along with the physical.

Don't forget to thank your body for bringing the anger to your attention! Send some love to your liver. Our bodies respond to a little kindly encouragement and love.

I hope that helps. :)
