I have no doubt at all, and it has been proven that Sodium Chlorite is a powerful antiseptic, and disinfectant, as are many other industrial chemicals. Does this mean they are the best solution for humans, no.

What we need to look at is the efficacy as opposed to harm, when using any chemical or drug in humans, animals or the environment as a whole.

As it stands at the moment, there is no testing of Sodium Chlorite, that can show that there is more benefit than harm, from ingesting this chemical.

I will give some information about myself, not as a testimony, but to illustrate my point. I had a bout of cellulitis about 3 years ago. I was prescribed some very strong anti-biotics by the doctor. Having had bad reactions to anti-biotics in the past, I decided to research to see if this was the best solution for my problem.

From my research, I discovered that topical use of Iodine may be more effective, without any adverse impact on my body. I conducted the experiment, and was successful, the infection was eliminated, and I did not suffer dysbiosis, nausea, or fungal infections, (which had been the result of anti-biotic use in the past).

There could be no placebo effect in this experiment, as the results were not based on how I felt, but based on the effective elimination of the infection.

The use of Iodine, proved less harmful than the use of anti-biotics.

This brings me to the point, yes Sodium Chlorite is an effective antiseptic, and used topically is probably not harmful to any great degree, but is it the best solution, better than Iodine, or other antiseptics, or anti-biotics, we have no way of knowing, without controlled testing.

If ingested, is the harm greater than the good, again, we don't know, because there is no controlled testing.

It was suggested by an earlier poster, that the inclusion of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement into the forums on Curezone, is because it is an alternative medicine. I would argue that the only thing that makes this chemical an alternative to mainstream drugs, is that is has had no rigorous testing, biased or otherwise, and therefore anyone ingesting this chemical has no legal recourse, if they suffer adverse effects, unlike mainstream drugs. Otherwise, it is much the same, the body does not utilise this chemical, the body cannot suffer a deficiency of this chemical, and although it may (no one knows for sure), alleviate symptoms, there is no proof it actually cures anything at all.

We do not see a support group promoting chemotherapy, Antibiotic drugs, or any mainstream drugs on this website, and IMO chemicals such as Miracle-Mineral-Supplement have no place here either.

This, however, is something that the WM must decide.
