Well the world did not end and the aliens did not arrive

Well the world did not end and the aliens did not arrive so I guess you guys can come celebrate my birthday next friday.  Yes, I will be 19 years old and next year I will be 18.  Thank God for Sara's calendars.

The night is eiry really and their is an uncanny calmness here almost like impending doom is near.  In Islam we know the end of the world is on a Friday and we know there are signs to watch for and I guarantee you one sign that will not be effected is this one:

When I was in school I remember how we were told the aliens were coming to take us all.  I remember how frightened I was and I prepared to say goodbye to my family and friends.

I just knew they were coming and I tried to think how life would be living with the aliens, but it was impossible to think of little green men wisking me away in their space ship.

Although you may laugh at my fear, it was real and I believed those idiots and I just knew my fate was decided. 

Well the day came and passed and I was saved.  No there was no space ship and there were no green martians and I was left on this God forsaken planet to live with the news of everything.

Contries are fighting and monarchies are falling as in Yemen today.  The fear of death and imprisonment of other leaders have made the head of Yemen agree to step down.

The world is still recovering from the Japan earthquake and we will probably see repucussions for years to come.

The economy is a mess and we have lost all confidence and hope in tomorrow.

The worse of everything of course was when some of our favoriets died like Michael Jackson.  People we grew up with are gone and today I got some bad news about my health.

Now the world did not end, but some may grow to hope it did.

Well other than all of that, the world is great and tomorrow will bring something more to talk about.
