Re: anyone here know about meridians please?
I am not nearly knowledgeable enough to help you, 25355. You are asking a perfectly good question, one that would lead to healing, in my estimation.
I'd go for a really good practitioner of "Touch for Health", "Reiki", "Feldenkreis", or other modalities. (I particularly like "Touch for Health" because I've been to a lady who is Cracker Jack at it.)
Practitioners study deeply, and know so much more than the general public.
Just in passing, I learned from my practitioner that there are secondary points related to the actual spot one feels the current problem.
Once she was working on my toes/feet and she reached to touch a spot at the back of my shoulders, as well.
She mentioned the fact that nerves can be 'turned off', which I heard also from a hospital physical therapist... though the therapist didn't make an attempt to turn anything back 'on'. I kept my mouth shut...but perhaps I shouldn't have.
I wish you good fortune in finding a good practitioner for yourself.
One thing you might like to remember is that all alternative practitioners face rude comments (and more) just by putting up their sign of their business. All of them are very brave people, and dedicated, even if they don't have the exact answer you need.
Keep trying.
My best,
