Question about essiac tea preparation

Hello all,

I have a question about the preparation of the Essiac tea process.

Im thinking of ordering the herb packs from herbalhealer and i see that its packaged to combine with a total of 2 gallons of water.

They also mention the tea goes bad in the fridge even when covered after 2 weeks.

So my question is; If your only supposed to drink a maximum of 6 ounces of tea a day.. and yet if you do the conversion a US gallon should be 128 ounces, 256 for the entire 2 gallons of water they mention.

At 6 ounces of tea a day for 2 weeks should equal out to about 84 ounces.

What gives here, am i missing something or are people only brewing a fraction of the herbal satchels at a time - seems kinda messy to try and pour them out and separate them into exact quantities.

Looking forward to hearing an answer before i go wasting all that tea.
