I have been using pure baking soda (Dr. Clark Store)about 1/8 teaspoon and 1/8 tsp in tea or water before going to bed. It's fizzy and helps when I've eaten too much acid forming foods. Hulda Clark advised using a teaspoon of baking soda in water before bedtime for a quick fix for acidity.
To ballnce by body I looked at a lot of websites about acid and alkaline forming foods and follow a diet of about 2/3 alkaline forming food and 1/3 acid forming foods. Also called acid and alkaline ash foods. I eat lots of kale and some chard - leafy greens. You may want to get some pH strips to test your saliva first thing in the am.
