Re: Everyone can smell it but me
Shitt i havnt logged on here in so long and reading this just brought it all back, All i can say is hold tite and have faith cos i was right there at the age of 12 aswell and im telling you now at 20, things CAN get better
That doesnt mean you havnt got a long road ahead of you though, but the sooner you make changes the sooner youll reap the rewards.(dont worry im not saying it takes 8 years, i didnt take this into hand til i was 18)
If you can get the money together i would strongly recomend you go and see a kineiseologist. The thing is even if doctors do take you seriously and send you for blood tests, theres a good chance theyll come back fine, which doesnt help support your case. Whereas a kineiseologist will be able to pick up even the most sublte things in your body and covers everything. To be straight, this is the type of problem youve got to take into your own hands physically, but as far as the mental and emotional sides go one thing i would say is get all the support you can, never ever feel ashamed or embarassed of this and be as open as possible about it all the way through. Coming on here at such a young age shows great potential in you getting this under control.
I think one of the worst things we smell sufferers can do is hide ourselves away or become afraid of people because of our experiences with them, which only contributes to making the smell 10x worse.
One of the best ways to help control this is diet - A kiniseologist will also be able to tell you the best foods for your body type - dont just blindly follow the first diet you come across on here, because there are so many.
You really have got to try and cut out all junk food and just drink water when you get cravings.
The fact that some people can smell you and others cant is likely to be very true, rather than them lying. Your nerves will trigger the smell which is why when you go into the mental shit hole that is school your at your worst. Its so important to try and remain as calm as possible, find anything that will help you : personally i find breathing properly and never rushing is some good day to day things.
Never use perfumed soaps or deodorants - u may have to go through a few till you find your match but personally i use plain ecover washing up liquid, charcoal soap, and pit rock deodorant. Make sure you are scrubbing the armpits of your clothes before your washing them (im not sure if armpit odor is a problem for you though) and that your clothes are thorougly rinsed out aswell.
As for the 'butt' odor - do you feel that your constipated? Alot of the problem may be coming from backed up bowels. Dont strain when your on the toilet there are lots of techniques for having a proper evacuation : personally: crouch down till you feel the bowel has moved through as far without coming out then get on to the seat.
Really it takes replacing some really bad habits with some new ones that you just have to up keep. But going to a kiniseologist will help you know the main area you need to target and help centre your mind as im sure you know how frustrated and confused this can make you sometimes.
Really its your journey, so keep looking and trying and moving forward and youll get there
Heres a lot of other small things that have helped me:
Rebounding (mini trampolining)
Dry Skin Brushing
Enemas (v good for fecal
Body Odor )
Diet
Breathing
Sitz baths
Telling other people about the problem (friends/family)
Stopping eating bread/milk/cheese and cutting
Sugar as much as poss
Homeopathy
Just keep researching on here and putting it to practice and you can get there
To be honest, dont waste your time reading everones stories on here, yeah it is comforting to know your not alone in this, but just focus on getting better and moving on now.
Dont ever let anyone make you feel ashamed - this is who you are and you cant help this. however you can help to deal with it as best as you can. Stay strong always because one day, your going to stop smelling, and youve got to make sure youve got enough of ureself left to live your life XxX
