Quick question - Chlorine in left eye

Long story short - I got pool chlorine in my left eye yesterday. My pool is salt water but sometimes I deal with chlorine. Anyhow - burned like you know what - I got water to flush it out fairly quickly (5-10 seconds after the chlorine). Still bothering me some today - irritated and scratchy feeling vision a bit blurry especially far away vision. Cool compress helps. I did do a diluted eye bright rinse yesterday as well as some other things to flush it out. Lots of distilled water.

I was just wondering if the eyebright is good for an eye that is this irritated and dry and well damaged a bit? Also, any other suggestions - lubricating eye drops seem to help and the vision is better today - about 80% normal.
