Re: Attn: HealthyArtist, getting over food reactions/intolerances
Hey Insight,
I'm not sure. I think I'm becoming less afraid of my reactions to things because of the amygdala retraining and I think that that might be helping me to be less reactive.
It's hard to say for sure because I started the ashwaghanda and the amygdala retraining at the same time. I know that I'm feeling better. I know that somehow I'm suddenly able to take new herbs. I definitely got more brave (because I felt better from the Gupta and the ashwaghanda).
All I know is that about a week into starting Gupta and ashwaghanda and making my vision board it started to feel like my life shifted from really difficult to hopeful and much easier. A month ago I was suicidal. Today I was chatting away with my mom about my big plans for the future.
Personally, I think both Gupta and ashwaghanda are working together.
Anyhow, I really really don't want to have any more debates so I'm gonna go back to taking a break from posting here. I will still probably be on the natural healing forum asking questions every so often, but part of the Gupta program involves not focusing on your illness and on turning fearful thoughts into pleasant thoughts. I feel sooo much better when I'm painting and gardening. Being afraid of staying sick keeps you sick. Focusing on life brings healing. I know this for sure.
Anyhow, if anyone wants to stay in touch I'm happy to stay connected on Facebook for now. PM me if you'd like to be my friend.
