Tattoos?

Not sure if this has been brought up...but do you think they affect our bodies ability to heal naturally? i know even in ancient times they've used tattoos. so it's not something new. I know red contains mercury. i'm talking just strictly black ink.

would it affect meridians? eft? etc..?

what about piercings? facial etc...

i'm heavily tattooed, (neck,arms,stomach,legs,back,hands,fingers) wondered if it's affecting me negatively?
