help with tapeworm infestation (just saw doctor AGAIN)

So, I saw my doctor a month or two ago for what I figured was Tapeworms and he gave me one dose of Albenza at 400 mg. He knew I was a self-pay and did not test my stool and said this was pretty broad-spectrum and should kill everything. Well, after about 5 days of passing white filmy stuff (skins?), I never did pass any major worms, but I felt better so I thought I was cleared up.

The last few weeks I have been feeling like it's back and MUCH WORSE. I did the 3,000 megadose of CoEnzyme Q10 which got me only 1 whole worm - but I didn't even see that with the Albenza before. But even after 3 rounds of Co Q10, I still have these freaking things making me so sick and freaked out.

So I went back to my doctor today, this time he gave me a jar for a sample and I got one tonight. I know they will find something because you can see the seeds/rice particles right in the sample. He went ahead and gave me another dose of 400 mg Albenza and I took it this afternoon. WORLD WAR III IS HAPPENING IN MY INTESTINES. I am really sick! I had to cancel a date with my new guy and I feel like I can't tell him about this or he will never want to sleep with me again, but I digress.

So why just give me ONE DOSE of Albenza?? It didn't work fully before, but he insisted that this usually takes care of things. I know I'm having die off but I don't want to suffer this way just to get rid of SOME of them.

Should I order Praziquantel off the internet? It's going to take 3-4 days to get my lab results anyway. Should I just wait and see what the doctor says when the results are back?

God this is horrible. I'm trying to find a job and just interviewing is hard, what if I get something and I'm too damn sick to work? This is ruining my LIFE!!!

I just want to cry...some of you take these meds for weeks or even months and never totally get rid of them. Why should I have any hope? Am I going to battle this forever? Tweet
