Re: No one freakin believes me!! Frustrated!!

Don't sweat it, it happened to me too. Even when I took the time to try to explain to my family, friends or others, in a logical manner, what happened to me (i.e., intravenous Antibiotics followed by oral Antibiotics combined with terrible diet = candida overgrowth), they still act like I'm just on some sort of a 'health kick' or that I've jumped on some trendy diet bandwagon.

Even today, at Easter dinner, despite having explained to my mother at least 20x what my situation was, she starts goading me into having some cake. Finally I snapped and said that I would love more than anything to eat the entire cake myself but if I have even one slice I'm going to physically suffer for it later.

What it comes down to is that people, in general, are just freaking idiots. Even many of our families. So thank God for the internet.
