Re: old looking

You are wrong. I have been raw off and on for a long time now and I have seen people of all ages who are raw and by in large most of them look better than the age person as it r/t to skin, hair and weight. I have met some who are overweight too. They may eat cooked food once in a while, but they follow a raw diet, its a passion. I thought Alisa Cohen looked alittle heavy in some of the pictures I saw of her, but she did not look older than her age.

I work with hospice and I see a lot of people who eat cooked food, fat, sick and die prematurely. I don't run across a lot of people who are vegetarians or raw fooders. THey may not be or look perfect, but they beat those who follow the All American diet. I bet they have lower rates of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, etc-should I go on.

Be slow to judge, I don't think any raw fooder is a fake. IT's too hard to fake. They are human and have times where they are in better shape at other times, but slow your criticism down. They are helping millions of people.

This year I am going to be 50 and I discided that I am not going to be 100% raw. I gained experience and accept balance. Maybe that is why you don't see many raw fooders at 50, because they take a more balance approach. LIfe is short and I'd rather have a little cooked food than to lose so much time eating everything raw. Age and experience is a great teacher.
