Three years on I guess you will know castor oil is effective and safe. If you take a large dose you will have diarrhoea and of course should drink plenty of water to replace.
Last week I took about 80 ml instead of intended 50 ml(careless). Followed up with two large black coffees after an hour and then drank water . After 6 hours the inevitable
effect occured. After another two hours my weight was down by about 5 pounds so I had maybe up to 5 pints of fluid to replace over the next day or so. Body fat measured by electronic scales went up a couple of percentage points so clearly it can dehydrate one a little.
The benefits far outweigh any inconvenience for me however and every few months I will continue with the castor oil flush.
