Re: Nobody cares about us: FACT
yeah hesmells thats great you've found a way to have some peace particularly with the opposite sex having this disorder. Quality of life is definitely important but I wish that my only issue was whether I could date or not.
I'm a few weeks away from being homeless and I'm desparate for a JOB!! I need to earn a living so I can pay my bills and its a struggle to do that because the HR people that I've interviewed with won't hire me after sitting in there office and smelling up the place. Dating? Could care less.
(Shattered Soul: Sometimes I wonder if I didn't have this horrible condition would I be just as cruel?)
Goodness I was thinking this very same thing the other day. Whether I could be as cruel as people are to me when I was working. Good Lord I hope not.
And I tried confronting people at my last job. That only made matters worse. It gives them s'thing more to talk about and more juice to come after you. I was harassed by the executives and managers almost more than anybody else. And they seem to take turn coming over to where I sat and spraying things and walking away fast. It was devastating. I went to HR, the situation got even worse. Everything I tried to do.
375856(?) Your list hits home with what we're dealing with.
I can't help but to wish there was some way we could all band together and take some kind of legal action, if ONLY to get the medical community to pay attention to us. Now, like the OP says, we have nothing, nobody to help us, nobody who listen. Its awful! THIS is our lives!!!!!
