Urine temperature

I recently had a nurse come to my home and administer a physical exam for insurance. What baffled me and surprised me was when I gave the urine sample, I was to tell her what the heat sensitive strip read degree wise. It was somewhere around 94F or 95F. Why didn't she just take my oral or rectal temperature? Wouldn't that have given the same degree reading?
