The first two or three days are hard to be around and watch people eating. Then you have no hunger so the cravings are mental not physical. You tell yourself you can eat it after the fast and put it off. My wife was fasting with me for awhile on juice. So was getting bit more help there. But here brother came to town and asked us to go out to dinner. I went and had nothing. Just a diet coke. She ate chicken caesar salad. After that she started eating bit here and there . More low calorie but then you get hungry. So more and more and pretty much off fast. Whatever. I soldier on. I weigh daily,see the scale go down and have my goals.
Another week and this fast will end and should be where wanted to be this time around. Not final goal but closer. Easier to do several fasts sometimes than one super long one.
But if you don't have much to lose you may not need super long one like me.
If you can't last 2 to 3 on water do juice then switch over to water after the hunger goes away.It will go away on juice or water as long as you don't eat solid food.
