The Case Against Fluoride
Hello all,
I'm posting as a representative of It's Rainmaking Time!™, an online show and podcast that focuses on discovery, solutions for mankind's problems, new knowledge, and other information you won't find in traditional media. One of our major focuses is health and wellness, which dovetails into the purpose of this post. We recently produced a segment with Fluoride Action Network director Paul Connett titled "The Case Against Fluoride", and were so alarmed by what we heard that we were compelled to promote the show everywhere we possibly could. Please listen, download the podcast, and pass it on - we need your help to spread the word to as many people as possible in order to address this issue both legally (to end the fluoridation of water supplies and food) and personally (by learning how we can reduce fluoride intake and avoid fluoride toxicity). You can find the show by clicking here.
In the United States (and elsewhere), many public water supplies are fluoridated, and industry has often used it to fumigate produce. Fluoridation proponents often argue against their opposers on the basis of public health; the idea is that fluoride administered via the water supply will reduce dental issues for at-risk social groups (i.e. those who can't afford dental care). However, the fluoride dumped into water supplies is not pharmaceutical-grade, but industrial waste; and dental fluorosis rates indicate that the premise for fluoridation is faulty.
Furthermore, as noted by Paul Connett in the interview, fluoridating a water supply for medical reasons is senseless, as you cannot guarantee a consistent dosage. This creates a great public health risk regarding fluoride toxicity, which is known to contribute to thyroid disease and reduce IQ (!), among other things. This is, of course, to say nothing of the environmental repercussions of cumulative fluoride contamination, which you can read more about by clicking here.
I urge you to do your homework and learn about this overused compound. Together, we can make a stand for self-determination in health, end the fluoridation mandate, and protect the environment.
Thanks for reading. Be well!
