Re: Occupational metal exposure
I have had no diagnosis. Not doing AMA for anything these days, but I have had moments to reconsider, although I trust them not, but will appreciate an EMT, I suppose, if that time should ever come.
It behaves like SD, Excema, Psoriasis, Demodex - all and none at the same time. The link from external to internal is what I don't get, It is definitely NOT greasy - it is extremely inflamed, dry, crusty, sometimes scabby, occasional blood/fluid will spring where I have not scratched - yet I do not have dandruff?? ALWAYS itchy - 5 LOOONG years.
Something this long-lasting is curious, with the subcutaneous action and even deeper sinus/ear connection.
Possibly my broken molar/amalgam is slowly killing me, while my thyroid is out of whack along with hormones, RBC's, and maybe some celiac for good measure, with some heavy metal toxicity just to ice the cake!!! Hot damn, I am feeling pretty good for all this being wrong - really!
I have posted about this on different forums repeatedly over many years, hoping the right person would have an answer. Hormones are perhaps part of it - started right after Menopause, but so did the longer list of twilight zone stuff. Neckline and behind ears are a constant state of mess preventing me from pulling hair up away from it unless I am at home.
Over the long, long line of a long, long time I have tried:
Topically:
Oils-Olive, Coconut, Avocado, Tea Tree, Neem, etc. - along with GSE, ACV, Thyme, Lavender, baking soda, borax....NO corticosteroids, but many dandruff shampoos, coal tar ....
Have left oil mixtures on as long as two days - to no avail - after shampooing scalp will go back to dryness and itching shortly.
It must be an INSIDE job!!?
Currently
SSKI may be kicking stuff out my skin even more, but at the same time seems to be drying the crud up - we'll see.
I have wanted to RIP my head off and PULL out every hair on my head many times, so I get to learn even more about patience thru this. Any insights are appreciated.
