Bile ducts are flexable and Epsom Salts will relax them even more. Large stones can be easily passed without pain. Soft cholesterol stones do not always appear on ultrasounds. The gallbladder is a storage sack of condensed bile. Soft stones are very difficult to discern from the normal contents. If the symptoms are frequent then there is a good chance there are some stones.
