To firstfast: you are doing wonderful, going on day 5, keep it up. Even if you can try to get to day 10, it will make all the difference.
And when I am fasting (I am starting new today) I don't think about fast food or even healthy food. I am just too busy thinking about new clothes that I can fit into. That's what keeps me going. And best of all, when I am fasting I have the most energy -it's even hard to sleep a full eight hours (that's the worst).
