Hormone help one year after total hysterectomy & both ovaries removed... and more...

Dear Dr. Mom,
I am a student in the school of natural healing, which I came to after experiencing great medical tragedy, & a year of learning that the answers have to come from me. Almost 2 years ago, shortly after my last son was born I was sent to a "vein clinic" for pelvic congestion that had progressed through my last 2 pregnancies. I wanted to have another baby & the Dr. said I needed to get those veins fixed first. Long story short, I went in for a procedure where I naively believed I was having my left ovarian vein closed off & that would fix my problems--I was horrified when I came out & learned that 28 platinum coils had been placed in both of my ovarian veins & my internal iliac veins. From the moment the anesthesia wore off, I knew my life would never be the same. I spent the next 10 months, literally in bed, with severe venous pain now throughout my abdomen, pelvis & legs & developed worse & worse varicose veins as time passed. Also,I instantly developed severe, systemic Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD--a disease of the sympathetic/central nervous system that in rare cases develops after traumatic injury to the body), this disease causes vascular, skin, joint, bone & nerve dammage & is very painful. Lastly, and hardest of all, the loss of both my ovarian veins & perhaps the metal itself, traumatized my ovaries & threw me into hormonal crisis. I had continual hair loss, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, shaking, etc. After 10 months of fear, being unable to take care of my kids at all, wondering if I was going to die, & seeking cure after cure, I made the difficult decision to have a radical surgery (we live in Utah but had to travel to Mayo Clinic because no vascular/OBGYN surgeons in Utah were up to the risky procedure) in which all of the metal filled, clotted veins were completely removed. As collateral damage, I had to lose my ovaries & uterus.
I apologize for the long lead in. But here I sit one year from the date of my surgery. I have totally changed my diet & have been doing cleanses, & a pseudo-version of Dr. Christopher's Incurables. It has been a very difficult year. I have been on bio-identical hormones--with some awful results when 2 doctors put me on too much & my estrogen & testosterone levels were sky high. The last few months I've been seeing a provider who has me on much lower levels of progesterone/estrogen, & no DHEA or Testosterone. I am doing better on lower levels, but I read in your book that boosting the thyroid & adrenals can help women make their own hormones after ovary removal. My provider recently had me do a saliva test & says I need to go back on DHEA &/or testosterone now because they are very low. But lately I haven't felt good about what I'm doing & don't feel good about adding back the androgen hormones. Also, in a phone call, David Christopher mentioned that phytosterols in plants can make hormones... I was going to call him again, but thought I'd call you first--because I so prefer a woman for these things & truly, your book is the best book I've read in all my self education these last 2 years. So my question after that marathon of words (sorry!) is can you advise me on if it's possible to take no hormones after losing ovaries, and if so, how do I go about it. If it's not possible to come off them--is there a way to help balance them because no matter what level my tests come back at, & no matter what precription I'm on (& I've tried many), I don't believe my hormones are right--I am still losing my hair & have had no regrowth at all in 19 months. As a 35 year old woman, this is devastating & humiliating. And I have other hormone/lack of hormone? symptoms as well. I am doing everything I can think of to help the RSD & my doctor-induced venous insufficiency, but if you have any thoughts to add to those two problems I would love it. But, first & most important for now is can you please advise me on balancing the hormones when I have no ovaries & how to come off them if that's possible?
Thank you so very much! It will mean everything in the world to me to me if you have some input.
XOXO
