Juice Fasting concerns for mother of 3
Greetings All,
I'm new to this site and fasting all together. I've been curious about fasting for some time now - several years in fact - but never followed through. Now, I'm in a different place in life - married w/ 3 kids under 4 - and ready to fast but concerned about being able to sustain and manage my family during the fasting process.
My plan is to start slow - doing a 3 day fast and then grow to 7 days and then 10 days or possibly longer. I've been reading on the types of fasts to do and I've connected with the juice fast to start with.
Here's a bit of background info on me. Until the last 6 yrs I was very active in the gym and ate healthy - cheating here and there but nothing obsessive. I traveled & worked with my husband, started a family (where I had 3 different water births - birth center, home & at a hospital). So I'm very familiar with holistic practices yoga being one of my FAVORITES - i did prenatal yoga & hypnosis during my births.
I was hoping to get some advice & support on motherhood and fasting. I don't want to over extend myself during this process so your thoughts are welcomed.
