I know that much Goldenseal is commercially cultivated, as is Ginseng. I'm not sure you could wildcraft enough these days to consistently turn out all the Goldenseal products that are sold on the mass. Good lord! People even use it in hopes of fooling the urinalysis test! It supposedly grows wild in my area, but I've never noticed any or had it pointed out to me by anyone else. Best to use cultivated root, yes.
