Anyone have some knowledge of iridology?

I've had this blood shot vein on my left eye white, on the 9 o'clock position. On the side of my nose.

That vein has been there for years, it is one of the first things that showed up when I was getting sick. About 2 years ago I got to the point where my eyes were completely clear, thanks to herbal eyewash, but that vein persisted.

Now my eyes are back to being all blood shot again, and that vein is just as prominent as ever.

On the iridology charts that area of the iris corresponds to the trachea, thyroid, thyroid cartilage, and all that. Which makes a lot of sense because I've had soreness on my thyroid for years, my thyroid cartilage is broken, and hypothyroid was the first thing I suspected years ago before I was as sick as I am now.

The thing is, I can't really see any problems with that part of my iris. Only on the eye white next to it.
