Re: Regularity
Thank WG - the good news is the hard part is over and from here out it's just the nagging stuff that comes up. It is that initial detox that keeps me going forward because God knows I don't want to have to go through that again anytime soon. I average about one to two
Water Fasts a year. If I make it past 21 days this will be the longest
Water Fast I've been on. I'm not setting any time limits however, because it sets up expectations for me. I'm taking this One Day At A Time. Making a daily assessment at what's improving and what I need to do to get through this 24 hours. Basically I'm working my other program to get through this one. :)
Where it seems impossible to get to X number of days - staying focused on "just for today" has helped me a great deal this time.
PS: I had my first food dream last night. This is typical in my fasts. I'll have very vivid dreams in which I freely eat some very delicious things than remember I'm fasting and get upset...until I realize I am sleeping. Haha! They used to bother me - now I consider them a "free meal" without any side effects.
