Re: Dr MyHill?
Hi, yeh i ordered some tests from her, you don't need to be a patient of hers to do so. You just pay for the tests and her interpretation letter. She gives a recommended treatment but obviously if you're not a patient of hers, you're on your own after that. Are you in the UK? I think you can only do them if you're in the UK. I had the mitochondrial test, full thyroid, hyperventilation and a few others done. I have only recently had them done and not properly started on her recommendations for treatment yet, I had AF confirmed via the saliva tests a couple months prior and already taking quite a few supplements for the AF plus a few others and i'm short on cash so have to make do for now.
My mitochondrial test results were either borderline normal or below normal, there's quite a few different tests in that batch. she gives you a score from the test results and the equivalent value on the
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome ability scale, mine was 35/100 which is pretty acurate to how i feel. I was a bit confused on how if a lot of the results were borderline normal i only scored 35/100, but the upper referecne range is usually about double the lower level and i guess most 'healthy' people score in the upper normal range. She goes into it more on the Mitochondria and
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome paper on her website I think, but due to brain fog, I've not read it yet.
Im glad I had the tests done, It verified what I had, as after 10 years of living with this and being told by mainstream docs all my tests were normal I was beginning to doubt myself! Sorry I could not be more helpful on if it's helped my condition yet as I've not got that far yet. If you have any questions, please shout.
