Re: Your method

Sorry for the delay. My dad died in Sept 2008 and I haven't visited this site since shortly thereafter.

I get my bulk salts from San Francisco Bath Salts Company. They are very good quality and price - http://www.sfbsc.com
- they carry dead sea, himalayan (supposed to be powerful but doesn't produce much), nevada red, pacific Sea Salt , mediterranean...).

Yes, I use distilled water and the mix varies depending on the source of salt (i.e. dead Sea Salt is very high salt content versus other types like Himalayan). As a rule I add enough water to dissolve the salts entirely and that's about it.

You will know if what you're using is dead Sea Salt or an imposter. I bought some supposed dead sea salt on Ebay a couple years ago and made a batch and there was hardly any precipitate...that means they lied and it wasn't DSS because DSS produces copious amounts of ORMUS precipitate.

When I discovered SFBSC and ordered from them I was floored with how much ORMUS was produced (well over a six month supply) with so little salt.
