Some questions...
Dr Jeff,
1. This question is out of the blue, yet it greatly concerns my quality of life at the moment. A hiatal hernia(mild case) can be adjusted by a chiropractor – true or false?
Around last year August I had this non-stop burping problem (I won’t delve into what caused it but in a nushell, it happended after I went to bed with a really heavy stomach). Acid reflux is not a problem. I was diagnosed with hiatal hernia via an upper GI endoscopy. I was given stomach anti-acid blockers by the gastrointestinal specialist, but I chucked them in the bin. Instead, I turned to a chiropractor who claims he knows how to “adjust the organ”. I went for two sessions, and the problem (i.e. non-stop burping) indeed went away before it lately resurfaced. It's been about 5 months since my last visit to the chiropractor.
2. Until a person’s digestive system starts to function properly (i.e. free of candida, adequate stomach acid levels, etc.), ingesting fiber is going to do more harm than good – true or false?
3. Are sea vegetable and grass powders (e.g. kelp, spirulina, chollera) allowed on the Plan? I’m not talking about those superfood combinations which has a lot of vegetable varieties and other stuff in them, but just a single vegetable (e.g. kelp powder in which the only ingredient is kelp).
Thanks once again.
