Re: circumcision

There is nothing manly about disfiguring yourself or causing yourself pain. It is stupid and that is all there is to it.

Whipping as a form of discipline is idiotic. It is cruel. When you have seen it practiced in catholic juvenile homes, you can readily see it as child abuse. They whipped the children(17 years old and younger) for almost no reason. Whipping is a form of negative reinforcement. It builds resentment, hostility and anger. Negative reinforcement alone does not work and often backfires.

Do you think you are a man because you cause yourself pain? That is a naive man's opinion. It often changes when a young man comes back from war with a shattered femur, spinal injury, missing limbs. It often changes after a competition leaves the man with a totally blown acl, or blown disc, or torn rotator cup and 6months to a year of recovery time. If a man recovers he goes right back to what he was doing but he has a healthy respect for pain. Pain is no badge of honor.

Mutilating the penis intentionally is a sado masochistic act. I hope for your sake your penis still works and wont have problems latter. When we get a little older and some of the initial excitement wears off, us circumcised guys really miss the fore skin and the stimulation it could provide.
